Hi and welcome to the future home of the Aberystwyth Photographic society. Currently we are under construction but shall expect massive submissions as soon as our photographers have begun to depict!

Our plan is to introduce new skills to new photographers and the experienced master through a series of open tutorials, demo's and of course competitions to engage the creative mind. Subjects for competitions shall be selected at random or through popularity at the chair persons discretion. Rules etc shall be avaliable upon request. Outsiders can enter these competitions and awards shall be given, TBC.

Oficially we are now a registered club with the Union.!
First meeting; During the meeting we decided to engage our members in different styles and subjects. Up until easter we are specifically interested in Colour and shape with an (optional) abstract element .
All submissions to be either e-mailed to me (pjc4) or uploaded via your own dA page and then send link to me via dA. Your work wont be shown unless either of the above has been adressed

Next meeting: Instructions for setting up your dA account and submitting work, bring own work for informal chat, discussion and perhaps critque on pieces. Tips and advice on how improve shots and which eqiup to buy will also be readily avaliable. Also general suggestions for the direction of the club are welcome and encouraged.

Please feel free to join the chat room as there shall nearly always be someone there to talk to you or to give you advice on prity much anything photographic based.

If you wish to become a member of the Aber Photo Soc (APS) and are not from the Aberystwyth district or are but have not officially joined, please send a note with details and a brief description of your style of work and a link to one of your pieces.
